Simulations: We manipulated the value of K for different reactions to match our product composition. Our initial approach was putting the values of K equal to weight percent of the product formed so as it gave us slight understanding that which reaction is fast and which is slow. Simulations were performed to obtain the product composition as that of our literature. For the reactor (PFR), the temperature and pressure was kept constant at 106C and 80pisa respectively. Simulations were performed for two different volumetric flow ratios (1:1 and 10:1) of isobutane to butylenes for 6min, 30min, and 150min residence time. Simulations are shown below.
