Over the last several months, the city has experience an increase in appliance thefts. These thefts are occurring in residential subdivisions where new construction is underway. The prime targets are newly constructed homes, which are completed, but no residents, or nearly completed homes with appliances in place. Due to workers routinely coming and going during construction, it makes itdifficult to identify potential suspects. Please remain vigilant and observant if you live in any of these areas.
