Yankee Doodle represents British people who were making fun of the patriots and Then the patriots sang it back to the British. It was just a song making fun of how Dumb the British are but it was first sang for the patriots. There is no event for the song we couldnt find what war it was in.

*Also Doodle means a fool and Yankee means a person who lives or is In the U.S.

The mood in Yankee Doodle is HUMOUROUS because the song is loud and in a happy voice like its loud and fast.

Our evidence is Father and I went down to camp. Along with Captain Gooding. There we see the men and boys. As thick as hasty-pudding.

This song is important because British made fun of the Patriots then the Patriots took the song and sang it to the British.
