    Question: Does the acceleration due to gravity cause severe effect on the system of weighing scales?

    Answer: Gravity is constant in weight (f=mg), and the only things that can have effect on the system of weighing scales are those that are inconstant. Therefore, gravity does not affect the system of weighing scales.
