Student Soccer game

The end of the first semester has flown by at rocket speed, with this comes the need for a sigh of relief and it serves as a great reason to celebrate. What better way to celebrate than a good oldfashioned soccer game where parents and teachers come together to face off with GAAs five ECC (Emirates Coastal Conference) competitive soccer teams (u-12 boys, u-12 girls, u-14 boys, u-14 girls and u-16 boys) on February 6th, 1.30 pm at the GAA Field. The field will be split into two pitches allowing games to happen simultaneously, but the last match or grand finale calls for participation from our football savvy parents who would like to compete against the boys U-16 team on a regulation size field. Parents if you would like to play in this GAA traditional match please e-mail James Cochran j.cochran_gaa@gemsedu.com , PE Coordinator indicating if you have a son or daughter who plays competitively and Mr. James will try and place you in that same match or if you are in fair enough fitness to participate in the full length football field against the u-16 boys team. This event welcomes Moms and Dads of students from Kg3 to Grade 11 and all skill levels. In order to allow for diligent organization for this event only parents who e-mail Mr. James indicating their interest in this match before Tuesday, February 4th will be allowed to participate. Thanks and looking forward to an excellent event.
