Gunnar Lucko

Gunnar Lucko, son of Dr. Manfred Lucko and Dr. Karin Lucko, was born on January 13, 1976 in Hamburg, Germany, where he also grew up. After graduating from Charlotte-PaulsenGymnasium in 1994 he entered the Civil and Environmental Engineering Program of the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg, where he earned his Intermediate Diploma in Civil Engineering in September of 1996, completed coursework requirements, and worked with major Germany construction companies during two internships. Supported by a partial grant of the Fulbright Commission and later also by the Graduate School of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, he joined the Construction Engineering and Management Program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in August of 1998. Gunnar earned the degree of Master of Science in Civil Engineering in December of 1999. He plans to pursue a career in the Construction Engineering and Management area of the Construction Industry.
