Shield * This shows the identity of the person who is speaking to you. Section ( )*tra +eatures or Changes in the ,ame The assassins are now in'isi%le to your enemies and can only %e seen when they ha'e %een spotted %y the enemy2s troops. n :92 will appear a%o'e the assassins heads to show you they ha'e %een seen.

)hen playing a multiplayer game the host will %e shown with a star ne;t to their name. -ou can trade gold and goods with your allies. To do this3 go to the llies screen /click on the :Talk to llies2 %utton1 then into the :4end <oods2 or :Re=uest <oods2 section. )ithin the :4end <oods2 or :Re=uest <oods2 screen3 click on a good type /i.e. wood1 then click on the amount %uttons along the %ottom to specify the =uantity you wish to send or recei'e. -ou can clear this amount3 %y pressing the thum%s down icon. The sound options include an additional option3 which is <enie speech. This will turn off general speech in the game3 such as the :greatest lord2 speech. This option will also turn off the :game paused2 and :game running2 speech. The multiplayer host screen includes some e;tra play options. These are: :>o cow throwing2 * Cows cannot %e launched from tre%uchets or catapults. :>o dogs2 * Caged war dogs cannot %e used. :>o rush2 * This option allows for a timed amount of peacetime %efore any players can attack each other or %uild troops. )ith the custom scenario editor you can create :Castle 0uilder23 :Crusader2 and :Custom 4cenario2 maps. Custom scenario maps allow you to create either an economic or in'asion map type with their own set of e'ents. 4kirmish masters screen * This screen lists the maps you ha'e played in either a Crusader custom game or the Crusader trail. -ou can sort the names %y score3 name3 amount of time played or date. -ou can also click on the map name and 'iew further information a%out it. Right clicking on the map name allows you to delete it. The scores are sa'ed out to the :skmasters.dat2 file. -ou can ha'e up to 2?! games displayed on this screen. Lord 4trengths * &ifferent computer Lords ha'e different strengths. This is shown %y the colored dots a%o'e the Lords2 heads. The %lue dots are shown for a stronger opponent and the yellow dots are displayed for a weaker one. They can ha'e as many as fi'e dots o'er their heads. player2s Lord has an a'erage strength so no dots are displayed. -. Setting U' .our $dentit# -ou can choose which type of Lord you wish to play within the game. -ou can choose from either a Crusader Lord or ra%ic Lord. This does not affect which units you can %uild3 %ut the Lord type will affect your starting troops. -ou can also choose the portrait you wish to ha'e shown when you ho'er the mouse o'er sections of your castle /this picture will also %e shown to other users in multiplayer mode1. -ou can create your own portrait3 if you load the :faces.%mp2 file /located in the root of the game folder1 into a paint package. -ou will notice we ha'e left two free slots for you to add own portraits. The si@e for each portrait should %e AB ; AB pi;els.
