One of the instances dring which I initiated change was the final placement proc ess at IIT H .

I was a student placement coordinator in the placement and I look ed after both the internship and the final placement process. The internship sea son hadnt been so good as dude to various factors like lack of guidance , people hadn't done thier preperation well and this mentality was being carried over to final placements as well. I identified the need for cahnge here. Firstly, I add resses my batchmates bringing their attention to this fact. After that I arrange d a work shop also for the interview preperation. I also arranged for a PAN IIT alumni community member to come down and have a chat with students for making t hem aware as to how prep is the most important thing.This galvanised people into action. The students strong in one partucular area were asked to help out other s by conducting workshops. The batch mentality changed and the placement team an d I were able to get everyone placed within 30 days of commencement of the proce ss, which was a big achievement for us being the first batch passing out form II TH
