Have you ever heard the term respect your elders?

Well this phrase is one of the many basic principles that were once taught and infused into young minds. However with new generations of parents wanting to be their childs friend instead of their parent, respect is fast becoming a thing of the past. Now more than ever, parents are deciding to take a more relaxed approaches to disciplining their children, as a result, all too often children are participating in partying, alcohol, sex and swearing due to lack of discipline and boundaries. Chris riley, head of youth off the streets, says all kids crave boundaries and direction because it makes them feel safe and loved.

all they want is for you to use three arguments to say that respect has changed since the time in To Kill a Mockingbird; you relate it to the book by saying parents were stricter back then and as suhc, the kids grew up ingrained with respect, whereas today parents aren't and kids are growing up wild and free
