Brawijaya University Abstract Purpose : reportin the profile of !rimary "on enital #laucoma $!"#% in &aiful 'nwar Hospital, Malan ( Methods ) ' retrospective*descriptive study was conducted over a period of + years, from ,anuary -../ to 0ecem1er -.2-( The data ta3en were ender, a e, clinical manifestations, 1ilaterality, type of !"#, visual function, severity level of !"#, medical treatment, and sur ical treatment( Result ) There were -4 eyes of 24 patients with !"#( The incidence in female 54,+6 7 $8 patients%, and 9+,627 $+ patients% in male( The most affected a e was under 5 months and 1ilateral( Most patients came with clinical manifestations 1uphthalmos and me alocornea $-/,57%( The most type !"# was new1orn $/+,627% and 96,+7 patients with no li ht perception( The most severity level of !"# was moderate level $29 eyes%( We ave medical treatment with :*1loc3er and "';( <nly 4 patients were under one sur ical treatment with sin le and dou1le sur ery and severity level of !"# was mild until moderate level without complication post sur ery( The intraocular pressure $;<!% level post sur ery was controlled for 6 months up to +5 months( Conclusion ) The most type of !"# in &aiful 'nwar Hospital $,anuary -../* 0ecem1er -.2-% was new1orn type with moderate severity level( Medical treatment were :*1loc3er and "';( The ;<! of patients that under one sur ical treatment can 1e re ulated(
