REFLECTION

My first impression when my lecturer Mrs. Tan Lee Wah gave me the coursework was that I felt that the task will be tough because this is first time for me to carry out a survey about Malaysia Education System. Then, after our class had a discussion, I finally decided to choose Benefits of Early Childhood Education for my survey topic. After that, I started to prepare my first graphic organizer for benefits of Early Childhood Education and checked it with my class mates. Actually I felt sad because my last graphic organizer had been rejected by Mrs. Tan Lee Wah because there were some mistakes. However, for the last time, my graphic organizer had been approved and up to this point I had learned that to succeed we should never give up. After I had finished my graphic organizer and personal responds, I asked my friends to help me check my grammar usage. Again, I had to redo my personal responds because there were a lot of mistakes on grammar usage. After double checking my personal responds hope that I had minimized the grammar errors and satisfy my lecturer and myself. I think individual working is one of cohesiveness or not can help greatly with communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills and has made me reflect on my own skills in this area. I am hoping as I progress further into my course and I grow in confidence my present skills will be stretched and my weakest skills strengthened. Semester one has helped me address and evaluate my employability skills and in doing this I have identified what areas need improving. Having this personal responds of employability skills will be useful for future reference and prove to be effective in my personal and professional development. If I had been given a chance, I will try to do more activities that can help students in the learning process from this knowledge. Lastly, I hope that my survey will help others especially to parents and the childrens.
