Assignment 2

Tasks:

• Draw the site plan of your building.

• Draw the column-footing layout of your building.
• Draw beam column layout of your building.

Specifications for Site plan:

• In site plane show the dimensions of land, set backs of building from
land edges.
• The area occupied by building should be presented with 45⁰ hatches.
• Show the percent of occupied area.
Specifications for Column-footing layout:

• Column-footing layout shows the position and size of columns and

footings in the real field.
• In column-footing layout the boundary line of land must be showed.
• Draw it with grids (grid lines should be of dotted lines) and sub grids
also show the distance between land boundary and gird and distance
between grids.
• Assume all foundations are single column footing and the dimension of
footing is 48”×60”. However any other type foundation can be used if
necessary.

Specifications for Bam-Column layout:

• Beam-Column layout shows the position and size of columns and Beam
in the real field.
• In beam-column layout only the beam and column is to be shown.
• Use the same grid layout in Beam-Column layout as used in Column-
Footing layout.
• In beam column layout there is no need to show any reinforcement.

Other requirements for all drawings

• Assume any reasonable value which is missing here.

• You have to submit it in a standard format which you have been shown
before.
