1 Luke Findley Professor Bortz CSC 155 6 February 2014 Prezi Reflection This presentation acts as an art therapy

lesson meant for the high school students of a special education classroom. The objective of the lesson is to help students gain a better understanding of the relationship between art and emotion. Students will be given the opportunity to experience the fundamental role that their interior disposition plays throughout the artistic process. Focusing on the emotional association assigned to color and line, this presentation provides a graphic depiction of an artists thought process. The preparation of this lesson was sufficiently enhanced by use of the Prezi presentation software. Art, a visual medium, demands the use of such technology. Without the Prezi program, students would find it difficult to follow along with these abstract artistic concepts. In this presentation, however, students are actively engaged through effective use of image, color, and movement. The multi-media format allows teachers to explore beyond the two-dimensional plane as they incorporate sound, video, and artistic depth. Technological malfunction is the only foreseeable downside to this instructional aide.
