SiO2/Al2O3 ratio are parameters that determine the quality of the product ZSM-5. Lampung natural zeolite can be used as raw material for synthetic zeolite ZSM-5 by hydrothermal method and the addition of silica obtained from rice husk waste. Silica can be obtained from waste rice husk with 2 methods, namely extraction and incineration. As a director agent structure formation ZSM-5 is used templates TPABr (Tetra Prophyl Ammonium Bromide). Synthesis of ZSM-5 is done in an autoclave at a temperature of 180 C and autogenous pressure with variation SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of 20, 40 and 60. As a fixed variable is the molar ratio of template TPABr/SiO2 0.05 and reaction time of 24 hours. Characterization of ZSM-5 were performed, among others, analysis of the structure and crystallinity, surface morphology observation and pore properties using Xray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller. The results showed that the ZSM-5 formed on all the variations of SiO2/Al2O3 with the highest crystallinity of 110.20% in the ratio of 60 mol / mol for samples with an addition of silica source husk extract and 48.32% at a ratio of 40 mol / mol for samples with an addition of silica source of rice husk ash. Also identified the structure of ZSM-8 and Analcime which are intermediate products in the synthesis. ZSM-5 crystal cubes produced with the highest surface area of 283.8 m2 / g, pore size and pore volume of about 34.472 and 0.125 cc / g.
