Espaol IV AP 11 febrero de 2014 Trash Log After gathering information, I have discovered that on average, my family produces about

4.5 pounds of garbage per day; this translates to about 31.5 pounds per week. This number is significantly lower than the other two averages illustrated in the figure below. The American average is sitting around 158 lbs per family per week, while the Latin American average is far lower at around 62 lbs per family per week. The majority of the items that make up the garbage at my house are napkins, paper plates, food scraps, and wrappers/containers. Other items include toilet paper, tissues, plastic and paper bags. Additionally, my family does its best to recycle items such as cardboard, bottles such as milk and soda, egg cartons and food containers, newspaper, magazines, and loose paper.
