Worked as an unpaid reporter at The Daily Helmsman newspaper at the University of Memphis for the Spring 2013 semester. Worked as both a news reporter and a sports reporter, covering the University of Memphis womens basketball team. Gained skills such as interviewing, reporting, writing, working as a team, and accomplishing tasks under a deadline. Began work as a paid reporter in August 2013, and in January 2014 transitioned to purely a sports reporter covering a wider range of sports.
