Tom Robinson Tom sat scared in court over a false thought, with a white man defending him voluntarily who thought they might win, barely. He helped a woman with trash on her lot and her father with his work from the forest which he brought. Tom knew he would not be tried fairly, And the rest of his life would not be lived merrily. Tom wanted to do something, but never fought. He would certainly die in court, like a bomb with a fuse. He tried to run because he was in-shape, Tom knew he would get more than a scrape. He would have lived, if he had another arm to use. Tom tried to escape to save his own life, but the guards fired again to overpowered his strife
