Karg Elert Nun Danket alle Gott Marche Triomphale The romantic composer Sigefrid Karg-Elert, friend of Max

ax Reger, was born in Oberndorf am Neckar in 1877 and is best known for organ pieces composed relatively late on in his life. Chief among these was his set of Sixty-six Choral Improvisations, and of the 62, by far the most well-known is the 59th, Nun danket alle Gott, based upon the Leuthen chorale (attr. Crger) - which was also famously harmonised by Bach. However, the tune is now best known as that of the hymn Now thank we all our God. Listen out throughout the piece can you pick out the tune, hidden within?
