To Whom It May Concern::
Congratulations. If you are reading this letter, I assume Nick Vincent has expressed interest in joining
your business or institution, and if this is the case, in my opinion, you've got an easy decision to make.
My name is Akasha Villalobos, and I have had the undeniable pleasure ofbeing one of Nick's Audio
Video Production teachers at Garza High School in Austin. I've spent over 120 hours on-set with Nick
in addition to nearly two years' worth of classroom time, and I have firsthand knowledge of his - for
lack of a more formal word - "awesomeness."
First, I've never seen a job Nick couldn't do (and do well, I might add). This includes activities such as
writing, directing, editing, lighting, acting, cinematography, running sound, and being a general
helping hand on set. At the end of his first year of AVProduction, he was awarded the "Nick of all
Trades" award because he's a Swiss-Army-knife kind of guy.
One of Nick's great strengths is in writing. He's one of the lucky ones, blessed with an
ever-replenishing reservoir of ideas and an efficiency that enables him to churn out a solid screenplay
in no time. His writing is polished, well-paced, imaginative, and resonant. He is creative, both as an
artist and as a problem-solver.
Nick is also indispensable in a group setting. He does not need to be the center of attention, yet does
not shy away from leadership roles. He's there to do what's needed. He sees clearly what must to be
done and can assist others in doing their parts. He's clear and straightforward without
overshadowing or being intimidating.
Nick's concentration and efficiency are also outstanding, which are qualities I saw equally on set and
in the classroom. He's very good at focusing his attention on the task at hand and at mentally blocking
out distractions.
In addition to his general ability to do everythingweJl , at the end of our first 13-hour shoot, I
discovered he also has some kind of bottomless pit of energy - not bouncing-off-the-walls energy,
but rather a focused willingness to keep working until the job's done. "I can keep going" was a
common refrain.

I must also mention that, though Nick may seem calm, cool and casual, one must not underestimate
the powerhouse that lies within him. Never mistake his quiet demeanor for disinterest, as he is
silently absorbing and processing everything around him.
As I hope it is plain to see, Nick Vincent is truly an asset. He is massively capable and has tremendous
heart. He is a student I will never, ever forget; he's one of a kind. Please feel free to contact me with
