Ben Hoffherr
Stanley Coulter, Oval Drive
West Lafayette, IN

Dear Mr. Hoffherr:

I am submitting this application to become part of the Hoffherr Group. As an

accounting student in Krannert School of Business at Purdue University, West
Lafayette, I feel my education and class courses, such as Organizational
Leadership and Supervision and Communications, have given me the
experience needed to become a vital part of your research team.

I have developed research and development skills through many past

projects. Last year I was the team leader for an Organizational Leadership
and Supervision class in which I was the main researcher for our group
project that was based on “going green”. This project required us to do
interviews, tour companies, and read articles on-line, in newspapers, and
books. This experience in and out of the library has prepared me how to find
research and where to look to find it. My initiative and communication skills
were enhanced through a communications class, of public speaking, and
working at Scotty’s Brewhouse, where I speak to people and inform them of
our products every day. These speaking skills will be a valuable tool when
the Hoffherr Group gives its presentation of the solution.

I am interested in setting up an interview or meeting to discuss any of the

listed experiences and others with you. Feel free to e-mail me anytime to
talk about the position. Thank you for considering me for the Hoffherr
Group.

Sincerely,

Emily Kirk
