Motherhood is more about attitudes and values than it is about biology.

I believe that motherhood is so much more about attitudes and values than it is about a woman biologically giving birth to a child. Far too often the mother is thought of as only the one who gives birth to the child, when in fact, the real mother figure in a childs life is the one that nurtures, unconditionally loves, and guides the child. Children begin forming ideals and beliefs of the values and ideas they learn from their mother figures when they are young. Our opinions and beliefs that we develop as young adults are based on the values and principles we learn when we are children. In Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet, a young Juliet spends most of her waking hours in Nurses care. Nurse was Juliets wet nurse when she was just born, and has been present in Juliets life right up until her tragic death. Children are very easily influenced as their forming minds can barely conceive the difference between right and wrong.
