    Automatic Power Factor Improvement Using Micro-controller ABSTRACT Project on Automatic Power Factor Improvement using Micro-controller.

    Power factor value is initially measured via microcontroller and it is then compared with a per-determined reference value. Microcontroller read the RMS value for voltage and current used in its algorithm to select the value of suitable number of static capacitors is automatically connected according to the instruction of the microcontroller for the load to correct the power factor from 0.96-0.98 range.
