Dr. Ziad Marius Rusanu 29th October, 2013 Workshop and Performance- 24th November

Dear Dr.Ziad , I am organizing a series of concerts, in collaboration with Romanian Embassy, featuring the Academic Clarinet Quartet. Members of this ensemble are artists from the Brasov-Romania State Philharmonic Orchestra, Preslav Petkov and myself. Our repertoire is rich and varied and includes works from all ages and styles. We will be performing at The Aware Center (26th Nov), Dar Al Athar Cultural Center (27thNov) and will be interviewed on Kuwaiti National Televisions Morning Talk Show. With your permission, I would like to invite the Academic Clarinet Quartet to NES to present a clarinet and saxophone workshop during the day and to perform for our instrumental students and parents after school on Sunday 24th November. They also kindly agreed to repair some of our desperately needed broken instruments, as well. The musicians obviously have some expenses and a contribution of KD350 is respectfully invited in order that NES musicians can benefit from this exciting and valuable experience. I have spoken with Mr. Kempster who is also very much of the opinion that any live music performance for the NES students to experience is to be encouraged.
