While being a student teacher here at Sunnyside School, Marco demonstrated confidence, passion and natural ability to teach students in a meaningful way. Marco was a dedicated, organized student teacher that built relationships with all students and staff members. I was impressed with the professionalism he showed during his tenure as my student teacher. He successfully created lesson plans, taught and reflected upon his teaching of such subjects as Science, Language Arts, Social Studies and Physical Education. In addition to lesson preparation and teaching, Marco assisted with classroom management, supervision, marking and attended staff meetings. Marco demonstrated ability to connect with students and the curriculum. He excels with taking a variety of concepts from different subjects and teaching them in a way that students can connect to the material and have fun while learning.
