Is good health and a clean environment a basic human right, or merely something for hich e should strive! Everyone in this orld have the right to have a good health and a clean environment because for me, it is a human right for each of us to have. "here is certainly a lin# bet een environmental $rotection and the $rotection of human rights, and I feel that a stand%alone right could be beneficial. &o ever, even thin#ing in terms of 'generations( of rights gives more eight to some rights than others, the right to life is considered more im$ortant than the right to a clean environment, in an immediate sense. )y concern is that the more immediate human right ill al ays trum$ the 'third generation( environmental right, hich ould still be a right geared to ards the human interaction ith the environment, rather than the environment itself having 'rights(.
