EXAM PRAYER

The following is a prayer which is taken from the book “Prayers That Avail Much” by
Germaine Copeland.

Father, thank You for Your Word that says you have given me a Spirit of truth,
love, and a sound mind. Not a defective, handicapped or sickly mind, but one full of
strength, vitality, and soundness. You have said that I have the mind of Christ. It is
written that Jesus grew in stature, and favour with God and man.

I believe I have the capacity to learn and to make great grades. In Daniel’s life You
caused him to make excellent grades. In Daniel’s life, You caused him to be ten
times greater in knowledge than the men of this world. I believe that as I exercise
faith in Your Word, the mind of Christ will be working in my life.

As I prepare for an exam, show me what to study and how to cause me to be of

quick understanding. Help me to develop the powers of concentration, so I can
maximise the ability You have given me. Help me to discipline my mind to think on
the subject matter at hand, and not daydream and lazily wander around, so I can
get the most from my study time.

Father as I enter to take this exam, I ask You to help me. Grant me wisdom and
show me how to take the test, so I gain the most points and make the best grade I
can make, using the knowledge that I have to the best of my ability.

Help me to stay full of peace. I cast down those thoughts of fear and helplessness,
and replace them with thoughts of faith and wisdom.
