As a Mass Communication major at Missouri Southern State University with an International perspective, I am writing to express my enthusiasm for your Master's program in Media Studies for the fall of 2014. My Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication involves how individuals and groups of people obtain and react to information from mass media, in national and global contexts. After three years of study, I have developed a great interest and passion on how media influence's people and their behavior cross-culturally. As an International student, I have more opportunities to learn and communicate with students from different countries. Therefore, i could connect my working expereience with "International missions" through the development of interview shows and writing about poeple from diddfent cultures; all learnd whilst working for the school television station and nespaper.My experience made me eager to be a scholar in this field and to study more about people's behavior and reaction under the media's thumb. In addition, working as a learning assistant for oral communication class in Communication Department and foreign language tutor helped me to accmulate more experience of competing for the assistanship and prepare of being a college professor in the future. Thus, i need an advanced platform to achieve my academic and career goals. Given my expereince and understanding of mass media, I believe that I am a perfect candidate for your Master's program.
