Introduction In practical we will investigate the relationship between velocity (v) and mass (g), by dropping an object from

a certain height. We will start counting the time as soon as the object reached its terminal velocity and when it reached the ground we will stop the timer. We will try this on different masses as our mass is the independent variable and hopefully we will find a relation between mass and velocity in form of a linear function: v(m)=mW+c where v= terminal velocity, m= height (meters) , W= weight (g) and c as the constant. We will also get to investigate how the air resistance effects the movement or velocity of the object. Research question: How does the terminal velocity of a freely object is effected by its weight Variables Independent variables: Weight (g) Dependent variables: the terminal velocity of the object Controlled variables: 1) The height of release 2) The start and end point of measuring the time 3) The size or the shape of the falling object 4) Air resistance Apparatus: 1) A4 paper 2) Scissors 3) Tape 4) Ruler 5) Stopwatch 6) Pencil 7) Scale 8) Plate Method:
