Jadhavs lost his eyesight at the age of 13 due to an eye disease. This led to his withdrawal from school. Yet even after being visually challenged. He has made India proud by representing India at several International chess competitions to authoring chess books to developing computer software especially for the blind. He has even braved climbing the high altitudes of Himalayas. Top of Form Determined to move on in life, he decided to go to school. He had to face the challenge of working as a part time telephone operator along with attending school. Shri Jadhav graduated with Economics and took up higher studies. Today he is an MBA with an advance course certificate in software programming and network. Combining his passion for chess and his work, he went ahead and developed Talk 64, a first-of-its-kind chess training and gaming software that helps the blind improve their gaming skills independently. He received the National Award for Best Disabled Employee, 2006 from the then President of India, Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam. He was selected for IBN7 Super Idols Award in 2009 and received Positive Health Award from Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic.
