History of polygons

Polygons have been known since ancient times. The regular polygons were known to the ancient Greeks, and the PENTAGRAM, a non-convex regular polygon (star polygon), appear on a krater by Aristonothos, found at caere and dated to the 7th century B.C and now in the catipoli museum Nonconvex polygons in general were not systematically studied until the 14th century by Thomas Bradwardine. The ancient Egypt used some polygons to build the pyramids, like the triangles that used as a inclined plane to lift up the objects from the surface to the top of the pyramids.
