Abstract<
Title : Jealousy , anger and aggressive behavior in a sample of upper elementary school grades in AlLaith Governorate .
Objectives : The current research aims :
To explore the correlation between jealous, anger and aggressive behavior in the study
population.
To explore differences in the sample individuals according to differences in age and grade.
The study community : The sample contained of upper elementary school grades in Al-Laith City.
Tools :
Jealousy scale ( sadek, ) .
Anger scale as a case and trait (Abdul Rhman & Abdul Hameed, ).
Ain Shams scale for aggressive behavior forms . ( Hafez & Qasem, ).
Statistical styles used :
Pearson coefficient .
Divergence Analysis.
T- Test.
The Results :
There is a statistically significant correlation at the level (.) between both jealously degree
and anger as an aspect, at the level (.) between both of them as a case.
There are a statistically significant correlation at the level (.) between both jealously degrees
and three of aggressive behavior dimensions but, there isn't a statistically significant correlation
between jealously degrees and passive behavior.
There is a statistically significant correlation between anger degrees as an aspect and the degrees
of aggressive behavior , but there is a negative correlation without statistical significant between
anger degrees as case and the degrees of aggressive behavior.
There are no statistically significant differences between mean scores according to the school
grade variable. F values were (.).
There aren't statistically significant differences between anger degrees averages as an aspect
according to the grade variable as F was (.) but there are statistically significant differences
between anger averages as a case according to grade variable, F was (.).
There are statistically significant differences between averages of three dimensions in aggressive
behavior according to the class variable with significance of (.) but there aren't statistically
significant differences between averages of passive aggressive is no significant differences
among the average of the three behavior with the negative aggressive behavior according to
grade variable.
There are statistically significant differences between the average of anger degrees as a
characteristic of the highly degree of Jealousy and the low degree of jealousy with (t) average
(.) And there is no statistical significant differences between the anger degree and the group
of highly jealousy degree and the low degree of jealousy with T value of (.).
There are statistically significant differences between the three dimensions of aggressive
behavior of the group of highly jealousy degree and the low degree of jealousy, and there is no
differences between the means of the negative aggressive behavior with the tow groups of the
highly jealousy degree and the low degree of jealousy.
Recommendations:
The importance of realization in each growth stage and it's related problems.
Both the school and the family should give the care to children's up-bringing and education.
To hold school seminars and forums to help pupils to be a ware of good conduct and how to
perform good conduct.
To bring up children from early childhood on satisfaction and to avoid the sense of jealousy to
prevent the passive effects and reflections of jealousy on anger and aggressive behavior.
To inform parents not to differentiate or distinguish between their children.
