Policy Regarding Reimbursement to Moot Court Committee Members for Mobile Usage

1) Need for Reimbursement The Moot Court Committee consists of various members who are involved in the process of actualization of the plans of the Committee. From the initiation of planning the moot, for instance convening and co-ordinating the meetings, effective communication is an important aspect of hosting a moot court competition. Communication between members of the committee as well as the communication between the committee members and the other stakeholders (like the participating colleges, sponsors, judges etc.) incurs a cost and should be included in the Miscellaneous expenses, which are part of the proposed budget. 2) Recipient of Reimbursements under this policy The following are the proposed beneficiaries and they be compensated as mentioned hereinafter: Recipient 1)Student Co Coordinator 2)Committee Heads 3)Members Amount to be reimbursed for the Event Rs.1500/- per person Rs.200/- per person Rs.50/- per person

3) Requirement of reimbursing the students A student involved in the working of the Moot Court Committee devotes majority of his time and attention in its functioning. Usage of Mobile phones is frequent and a student pays the price of these calls out of his own pocket. The objective of providing a fixed reimbursement of the mobile usage cost incurred during the event is not only to compensate the student but also to encourage him to use his resources to the fullest potential and help make this moot court a grand success.
