Preparing a trained workforce to meet the  local demands of an increasingly technological business climate.  Ensuring our Bayport Container Terminal remains competitive along the Gulf coast with thoughtful, well-designed transportation infrastructure and policies for truck and rail operation. Protecting coastal area property owners  investment in their homes against the threat of the Biggert-Waters Act and with sensible windstorm insurance coverage. And as Texans, pushing back the federal  encroachment on our rights to manage our own affairs of family, security and personal rights. Let Texas lead the charge, NOT the federal government.
