ABSTRACT
Instructions are provided for the presentation of the academic works produced in the
Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering of the School of Civil
Engineering, of the National Technical University of Athens, such as diploma and
postgraduate theses. The instructions refer to the structure and format of the thesis, the proper
use of the Greek language, and the proper styles of equations, symbols, numbers and units, as
well as the presentation of tables and figures. Particular attention is given to the issue of use
and citing of references.
