Conclusion: What did you learn about biomagnification by doing this activity? Explain.

What I learned from the activity was biomagnification. Biomagnificitation is when the toxins move up the food chain. In this activity we used paper clips to portray the mercury and the living organisms. At first the organisms would take a little bite of mercury, then as the way comes the bigger (predatory fish) would have got more mercury. So if we happen to eat that fish we would have a lot mercury since the big fish has eaten small fishes that consumed zooplankton that eat phytoplankton that consumed mercury. So long story short the higher the organism(of a predator)the more toxins it will accumulate.
