    The customer has had ongoing issues with late payment fees and interest charges on their credit card statement. In March 2004, they did not receive a statement but were told by customer service there would be no late fees; however, the next statement included late fees and interest. The customer has repeatedly contacted customer service requesting the fees be removed to no avail. The total amount owed due to accumulated interest is now between Rs. 4000-5000. The customer has paid all transaction amounts on time and requests the billing be corrected, otherwise they will cancel the credit cards.

    Dear Sir,
    Sub :: Continuous problem with your statement
    Ref :: My credit card no.5176 3700 7430 4001 & 5176 3700 7430 4019
    With reference to the above and with deep regret I request your kind attention to the
    followings ::
    In the month of MARCH 2004 I did not receive the credit card statement. This I had
    intimated to your customers care who asked
    me to pay the bill amount and confirmed that there will be no late fine. But in the
    month of APRIL 2004, the statement had the late payment charges and interest for
    late payment & service tax over it. I again spoke to your Customer care and
    requested him to withdraw it. They conveyed their helplessness the reason best
    known to them.
    This amount again got added to the next month statement and this process is
    continuing since then. The amount due to the cumulative interest has become in the
    range of 4000-5000 or a little more. I have paid each and every amount that I have
    transacted though your credit card till date. So there is no outstanding amount left
    as per my record.
    In between, I have several times requested your customer care for help. Even I
    have written to your customer care several times. But since your customer care is
    managed by call centers, they have expressed their helplessness. They asked me to
    send a letter in writing explaining the details. Meanwhile the amount has taken a
    very big figure.
    So, I request your intervention in this matter so that the bills gets corrected or else
    I shall be forced to cancel your credit card.
