The Influential Determinants of Sport Values of the Players in


National Sports Training Center

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to discuss the effects of the players exercise
outcome-expectation, exercise self-efficacy, sport enjoyment, perceived barriers for exercise on
sport values. The population were the players training for Doha Asia Games in the National
Sports Training Center. The period of survey were conducted between May to June, 2006. 388
questionnaires were distributed, 380 questionnaires were returned and 377 questionnaires
were valid. The valid rate arrived at 99.21%. Reliability, item analysis, multiple regression
were applied to data-analysis. It is proved that the internal psychological factors did make
pronounced influence on players values. Accordingly, results of this study would provide
referable guidance to related coaches, teachers and players when training and leading sport
teams.
