REMINDER This comes to invite participation in 2014 Undergraduate Research Scholarship and Creative Activity Day (URSCAD), coming

up April 21. The event is set for 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the University Student Union Volstorff Ballroom. The purpose of URSCAD is to encourage, promote and recognize faculty and student involvement in undergraduate research at SDSU. Undergraduate research is proven to be one of the highest impact activities in terms of student learning and success. We hope you will attend and support this important campus event! A poster show with refreshments will take place 1:00-3:00 p.m., featured performances will occur at 3:00 p.m., and at 3:30 p.m., awards for outstanding student and faculty achievement will be presented. This will include recognition of the Schultz-Werth award winners and Joseph F. Nelson undergraduate mentorship among other honors. We are encouraging all units to contribute to the afternoon program. Student submissions are encouraged across sciences, social sciences, humanities, creative and performing arts. Participation at URSCAD will be considered a university-excused absence by poster show exhibitors and other contributors.
