Echoes Here, silence.

Your piercing whispers are Soundless echoes in the air; Ambivalent voices yearning for attention. You are near, close enough to drown in, And daunting. But I am not afraid. Come get me. Paradise I was born into a world where everything was possible, nothing was unreachable. Everyone was happy; and I was, too. My daddy said "don't grow up too fast," but I said "I can't wait to be like you." To be smart, to be wise, to be independent, self-sufficient, and live in paradise. As I look back at who I was, and who I am today. I see my future in my reach, along the open way. I don't know where I'll go or where I will belong. But as long as I keep trying, I'm gonna sing this song. Until I'm smart, until I'm wise. Until I'm independent, self-sufficient, and living in paradise.

Bait Like is an over-used word de-valued as a hook to lure unsuspecting fish into dangerous waters. As un-spared lives are devoured, so is my heart. I despise you; resent me. My folly is your bait. Iridescent Memories Even in silence I can feel the piercing judgments of surrounding presence; the shallow whispers resonating around me. Staggering realization of my own negative thoughts, and iridescent memories of confidence once mine. The solitude for which I sulk in; and the envy for which I taste. Bitterness for which I bask in, and loneliness for which I stay. May the world be calm tonight, for chaos follows me tomorrow. Time Time is motionless. Bodies walk, Cars pass, Music plays, And planes fly. Yet time ticks. Like the rooms we are in Silent walls with so many secrets Doors opening and closing. Television and computers on, To help pass still time. Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Whispers Whispers are flaws; only prosperous when noted. Sifted like sand in between motionless fingers mind all the crashing waves and roaring winds. Whispers are starving seagulls sulking in anguish; in envy of food. I hear nothing. My ears are jarred and empty. Whispers dissemble like my heart; they op en. they |close|. they SpLaTtEr. they f a d e .
