Fitness Week Feb 10th-14th

Instructions: - This week, your team is in a fierce competition to train like an Olympian - You will be put through three days of training - At the end of the week, one team will have recorded more distance, more inches, and more sweat than the others - Work hard, be honest, and have fun! Cardio Challenge You and your team will work together on cardio day to log as many miles on the treadmill, bike, or elliptical as possible. You will be graded on your individual contribution as well as your participation and effort towards your teams log. Use the Cardio page provided to log your time, machine, and distance. Flexibility Challenge In this challenge, you will use the class to test your flexibility. Using the equipment provided, each student will log their flexibility score for the seated position, touching toes, and bonus challenges. A Yoga video will play for roughly 30 minutes and I will give your class an overall score for yoga participation. As previously mentioned, your team can earn bonus points for every member that can achieve certain moves or poses such as the splits. See the fitness page for your log sheet. Strength Training The Strength training aspect of this competition may make or break you! You will be tested mentally and physically in areas of whole body strength. Push your limits in the amount of burpies, push-ups, and situps you can perform in 2 minutes. A timed portion of this strength challenge will include wall sits, and the plank. The Circuit Challenge will give your team 5 extra points for a completion with the fasted time receiving a prize!
