Audience research was very important in order to get an understanding of what it is we should put into the documentary, double

page spread and radio trail and how we would go about producing these products. It was decided the most logical audience to aim at was those between the ages of 16-30 who are working class, as it is those with the overall interest in new technology; this being a point we focus and highlight on within our documentary. We created a questionnaire for our audience to fill out asking them about the types of phone they had and how they went about using them. Once we receive all of the feedback we were then able to turn the quantitative data into qualitative data, then going on to put this information into graphs and pie charts to present our research visually. I did this using the available tools in powerpoint and excel. We them applied our new found knowledge of our audience into our coursework.
