Dear all, in the name of Scientific and Organizing Committee I invite you to participate on the international scientific and professional conference 15th Ruika days, which will be held 11th and 12th September 2014. The organizators of this Conference are Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers, Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek and European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST). Ruika Days are a traditional gathering of scientists and experts in the fields of chemistry, chemical and biochemical engineering, food technology and biotechnology, medical biochemistry and pharmacy, as well as chemistry in agriculture and forestry, and environment protection, dedicated to Leopold (Lavoslav) Ruika, the Croatian Nobel Laureate in chemistry. Goals of the Conference are to promote excellence, interdisciplinary, originality and innovation of scientific research and application of research through collaboration with industry with the aim of improving competitiveness and the overall development of society. Ruika Days wishes to emphasize the importance of scientific research and application of new technologies and the latest scientific and technical achievements in the economy.
