In that case, what is digital citizenship? Digital citizenship refers to appropriate and responsible behavior in regards to being on the internet. Just like being a good citizen for your nation you have to be a good citizen on the internet.
1. I will inform my child on the dangers of the internet. My child will know not to speak to people they do not know. 2. I will let my child know that if they feel uncomfortable while using the internet they need to immediately speak to an adult they trust. 3. I will not allow my child to disrespect or hurt any of their peers while on the internet. 4. I will inform my child that treating people how they want to be treated is important when using the internet not just while interacting in person. 5. I will inform my child that there are websites that are not appropriate to go on, whether at home or at school. 6. I will learn about the different technologies that my child is using and learn how to use them myself. 7. I will not allow my child to purchase any items online without prior permission. 8. I will limit my child to his/her internet time. They will not be able to be on the internet at inappropriate times. I agree to the terms of the oath I am taking:
