Appointment of Statutory & Internal Auditors

QCI is an autonomous body set up with joint initiative of Government of India and industry associations registered under society's act 1860, to establish & operate national accreditation structure for Conformity Assessment Bodies Tenure - F.Y. 2014-15 & 2015-16 1. Statutory Auditor - Minimum 15 years old & empaneled with C&AG. 2. Internal Auditor - Minimum 10 years old & empaneled with C&AG.

SCOPE OF WORK - For internal audit on Quarterly basis:Internal Auditor shall supervise, oversee and conduct audit on the accounting function of the Council to ensure of:a. That the Policies & its related areas of the management are being followed, b. That the assets pf the council are protected against waste and fraud and are properly accounted, c. That the accounts are updated regularly and efficiently, d. That the information required by the management is generated timely and accurately e. That the Council meets all its legal obligations within the laid time schedules f. g. h. i. j. k. l. m. Audit Audit Audit Audit Audit Audit Audit Audit of of of of of of of of all the accounting transactions Revenue, Expenditure, Creditors & Debtors TDS Calculation & Return Service Tax Calculation & Return PF calculation & return Correct MIS is generated every month on time. Implementation of Policies & packages of HR i.e. Recruitments / Leave / Promotion etc. Fixed Assets

n. Audit of Expense against Budget / Budgetary control o. Performance audit of Projects & Accreditation activities of its Boards p. Any other if desired by the Council Role Investment Consultancy - Identifying suitable investments for the Council and making investment proposals therefor approving authority. Assist to the external auditors and provide them necessary information and explanation Help to formulate annual budgets and proposals for the Council. Review & finalization of Balance Sheet Participate in GB & Council Meeting of QCI, whenever as needed. Consultancy and advise on Income Tax / Service Tax matters for and other taxes issues arises during currency of Internal audit of the Council
