1) Discuss the general platform of this party.

For the purposes of this assessment, I chose the American Nazi Party. The general platform of the party is based upon the National Socialist party that was in favor in Germany shortly before and during the second world war. The party believed that fascism that incorporates scientific racism and antisemitism would be beneficial to society (but also expressed allegiance to the American Constitution). 2) What candidates have run as a member of this party? George Lincoln Rockwell headed the party and attempted to run for president in 1952. He was assassinated a few years later. The party dissolved. 3) What type of success have they had in elections? Very little success has been acheived. The reach of the party did not go far beyond the party itself. It was looked down upon by most. 4) What do you think about the viability of this party? This party, at first, seemed like a sick joke. There is no way whatsoever that this party could ever be successful, especially at the time of its creation.
