Music Genre Evaluation

I have chosen the genre of pop for my music magazine. I have decided to do this specific genre, as it is the category of music I have the most knowledge of. I enjoy listening to pop music as I admire most artists such as Katy Perry who has become very successful in her singing career. Pop music appeals to me as it has up-beat and happy vibes, reflecting on my mood when I listen to particular tracks, I hope to portray this within my magazine. Personally it gives the impression that pop artists enjoy making their music and see it as a leisurely activity instead of a working profession. The effect of this positive atmosphere will be shown through colour, layout and images within my music magazine.
