Graduation Requirements for the Classes of 2012 & Beyond*

Arts Major
Students must take at least two courses per year in their major.

Language Arts**
Four Units are required and must include 9th Lit and American Literature.

Math**
Four Units are required. Students must take a math class every year at SAA regardless of how many units they have earned.

Social Studies
Three Units are required and must include World History, US History, American Government, and Economics.

Science
Four Units are required and must include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Foreign Language
Two Units are required. A minimum of two units must be taken in the same language, though SAA strongly recommends taking three or more.

PE/Health
Personal Fitness (.5 credits) and Health (.5 credits) are required.

Total Units Required: 24
