The Kemp Model

The key benefits of the Kemp Model are its flexibility and adaptability. It can be used at
various design levels; to develop an individual lesson, a complete course, or an entire
program. The model does not require that the steps be used in a particular order, nor does it
require the use of all steps. Therefore the model can be customized to your individual
design requirements.

You are the owner of Do it Right Instructional Design and your company has been hired by
Starbucks Corporation to develop a new training program for their employees. Starbucks
has identified a service quality gap in their operations and are contributing it to inadequate
training. Their training program has not been updated in years and is not relevant to the
