The key benefits of the Kemp Model are its flexibility and adaptability. It can be used at
various design levels; to develop an individual lesson, a complete course, or an entire
program. The model does not require that the elements be used in a particular order, nor
does it require the use of all elements. Therefore the model can be customized to your
individual design requirements.

SCENARIO 2: You are a new instructor at the Modern Day Agricultural College and have just
started teaching Crop Rotation 101. With the recent legal changes, marijuana is now a
viable option for potato farmers in PEI and must be included in your course. You do not
have the time to re-work the entire course and have decided to just add an extra class to
cover this new material. The learning objectives for the lesson are to identify the
opportunities & challenges that exist for marijuana production in PEI, and to demonstrate a
working knowledge of the regulatory procedures and requirements of certified marijuana
