Edwin Hubble
Edwin P. Hubble was an American astronomer who played an important part in establishing the field of extragalactic astronomy and is generally regarded as one of the most important observational cosmologists of the 20th century.

Hubble shows that the recessional velocity of a galaxy increases with its distance from the earth, therefore, proving that the universe is expanding Discovered other galaxies Not first space telescope The HST(Hubble Space Telescope) was built by the United States space agency NASA Operated by the Space Telescope Science Institute.

Projects
Since the start of the program, a number of research projects have been carried out. Hubble close to end of its life. Still big projects:
1.- C.A.N.D.E.L.S. project. 2.- FRONTIER FIELDS program.

CANDELS
The largest project Aims to explore galactic evolution in the early Universe, and the very first seeds of cosmic structure at less than 1.000.000.000 years after the Big Bang

Frontier Fields Program

Officially named Hubble Deep Fields Initiative Advance knwoledge of early galaxy formation. Aim to observe the faintest galaxies in the distant universe.
